The spectator experience at the Castle Triathlon Series has become almost as famous as the spectacular backdrops and classic courses, and has made passing time before your loved ones finish the race a thing of the past.
Each 1st place winner will also receive a suitably themed trophy, and sponsor’s prizes for 2nd and 3rd place.
They will deliver a drinks station on the Run Course and we will have collection buckets over the Race weekend, please give what you can to this wonderful charity.
Their work towards preventing young sudden cardiac deaths through awareness, screening and research, and supporting affected families is critical.

The swim and T1 are based at Taymouth Marina on the shores of Loch Tay. We recommend that athletes rack their bikes before and note that both will close at .
The event offers not only a chance to race but a festival atmosphere with live music, dancing, children’s entertainment, retailers and food.
To compete in the Lough Cutra Castle Triathlon you can enter either as an individual, a relay team of two, or a relay team of three.

We are delighted once again to be working with CRY who will be our Event Charity Partner in 2018.
We advise that entrants arrive at least 1 – 1.5 hours before their wave time.
There’s an option to request specific waves during registration. As such we will be receiving assistance from Triathlon Ireland technical officials on the day and in the run up to the event.
Our first race of the season sets the scene for a competitive and fun series, hosted within the beautiful grounds and surrounding area of stunning South Galway.
